Does anyone know if the Raspberry Pi CM5 Active Cooler will work on the Radxa CM5?
The US Amz store has all the Radxa stuff listed as not available and I was looking for a unit that I did not have to import and wait on.
If clearance isn’t an issue I plan to use Thermal Grizzly Kryosheet instead of normal thermal pads.
Not really needed if your cm5 can conduct heat efficiently to the backplate.
I won’t be using the standard back plate. I will be using a 3d Printed back to also hold a HackRF SDR and a TRX-DUO SDR
then you do need active cooling. not sure if it works with radxa though.
I only ordered the uConsole, the Radxa CM5 16/128, hacker gadgets upgrade board, AIO2, AC1200, and SDR+Antenna package, a little over a week ago.
The CM5 will arrive before the uConsole or the Hacker Gadgets upgrades even ship. I should be able to make some measurements with my calipers and compare that to the specs for the Pi and third party active coolers that are easily available on AMZ.
I can always order one on AliExpress, but a $15USD will cost $15-$20USD to import. The import taxes are rediculous right now.
