# Current preferred A06 Image?

Having some spare time I dusted off my Devterm A06 and downloaded the latest Armbian.

After burning to an SD card, it did not boot.

I reverted to the stock 0.2h image from ClockworkPi and it works, but is 3/4 of a year old.

I know the Armbian port is maintainerless at the moment, is there consensus on what is the best base image these days?

There’s Archlinux available as a rootfs tarball, you just need to flash it on an sd card with a few command lines. Check the README.

There’s also Manjaro with some sort of script to flash it on an sd card.
