It went from Hong Kong to my regional DHL warehouse in under 2 days.
But now stuck waiting to make the last 20 mile stretch.

There’s another batch during packing. Will be ready for shipping in a few days. Public vacation is still on (will end on 7th October), so things are going a little bit slow. But it’s moving.
We wanted to ship all the rest at once, but our shipping partner says it’s kind of risky because every piece of our packages is quite valuable, so the total value would be too high. So we will ship the rest of A06 pre-orders in 2 batches. There won’t be a big gap though, only to wait for another shipping window.

The space clown is not wrong. Even with IC shortages due to the pandemic the team overestimated their capacity. The Clockwork OS isn’t ready, which is completely unrelated to supply chains and whatnot.

@juneda I don’t think that’s fair. The product was sold as pre-order and the makers explained it was still in development. Maybe the expectations were set a bit too high, but I have never seen a pre-prod project where that wasn’t the case. The team gave good updates on the progress and ic shortage challenges.
Meanwhile I just received my A06 version. I thought it was gonna take longer but suddenly it arrived. So awesome!

I’m sure it’ll be better than, say, the Gemini PDA or the Cosmo Communicator - which not only saw release at nothing more than prototype quality after over a year of waiting, but came with software which was never completed or fully stable. And they cost three times what the A04 costs. So wind yer neck in.
