# FPS information on screen

Hi all,  
I hope to post in the correct category.  
In all the emulators installed I always see in the bottom-left corner the information about FPS.  
Is there the possibility to remove such information.  
I installed some emulators with the Megathread post and I am not sure if I accidentally changed something.

yes it could

just edit the config file `.config/retroarch/retroarch.cfg`

change

```auto
fps_show = "true"

```

to

```auto
fps_show = "false"

```

assume you did not change retroarch config file location
