How can I stop this sound?

In uconsole running clockworkOS, the menu or icon names keep playing out loud. When I hover the mouse over an icon, it says the icon’s name, and when I hover over the menu bar, it says “menu.” The menu sounds have suddenly started playing; how can I stop this sound?

Orca screen reader installed ??. If so Hold Caps Lock (or Insert key) and tap S to enable/disable speech.
