This thread has all info on how you can enter the TinyCloud on GameShell through SSH.

**What you need:**

_Hardware_

- A wireless network connection (WiFi) 🌐
- A GameShell unit 🎮
- A computer with access to a network. 💻

_Software_

- For Mac i recommend FileZilla [https://filezilla-project.org/](https://filezilla-project.org/)
- For Windows i recommend Putty [https://www.putty.org/](https://www.putty.org/)
- For Linux i also recommend Putty [https://www.putty.org/](https://www.putty.org/)

You also can use the stock Terminal on MAC & Linux. Or within Putty if you are using Windows.
(Pro’s only 😉)

* * *

Step 1. Install one of the recommended SSH clients on your operating system.
_For this tutorial i am using FileZilla_

Step 2: Make sure your GameShell connected to the same wireless network as the computer you are using.

![image](https://cdck-file-uploads-canada1.s3.dualstack.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/flex029/uploads/clockworkpi/original/1X/9f10be92bfbf7a618d3c6fa702feab9295d3f434.png)
You can do this through; Home screen \>\>settings \>\> Wi-Fi.

Step 3: Check your SSH / SCP ip adres in TinyCloud on your GameShell.

![image](https://cdck-file-uploads-canada1.s3.dualstack.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/flex029/uploads/clockworkpi/original/1X/b1b133e8f4cbde32f5343b5916f2e1c2811222e5.png)
You can do this through; Home screen \>\>TinyCloud

Remember the IP address that is shown. In this example the IP is: 192.168.137.213
Also remember the ID ( **username** ) and **password** (Key). Both are: **cpi**

Step 4: Open FileZilla.

Step 5: Enter your IP, Username, Password & Port in the above fields.
 ![image](https://cdck-file-uploads-canada1.s3.dualstack.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/flex029/uploads/clockworkpi/original/1X/ad99d8f0172ef11fcd6ab40fe4393776142a062b.jpg)
_The default port for SSH is always 22._

After you’ve done this click on connect.

If you followed the steps properly. You should get messages saying that FileZilla (or another program) is connecting to GameShel.

Step 6. When connected you can see your own computers local folders & files on the left. And the GameShell folders & on the right.
 ![image](https://cdck-file-uploads-canada1.s3.dualstack.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/flex029/uploads/clockworkpi/original/1X/e214ee5af3c1091f861ae18cef119f7f82e7b1d1.jpg)

From here you can simply drag files from left to right in the folder you want stuff to go to.

Good luck!

I’m not sure but I see you have some quotes (`"`) in the line that says `EXT`:

`"EXT=gba,gbx,gbc"`

Try removing those quotes and see if it works. Don’t forget to reboot the GS after saving the file.

> Hi there, because of my lacking experience with SSH, Linux, and much more, I was able to get emulators working by several snippets of guidance of you guys here at the forums. Due to maaaaany people here that don’t know how to setup a new emulator on Gameshell like Gameboy or SNES, here is a (hopefully) complete guide with credits (sorry for copying your tips, but I think a complete guide will help most). The ‘What we do here’ spoilers tell you, what technically goes on in the specific guidanc…
