Seems a bit silly when the uConsole has a screen bigger than this and it’s form factor doesn’t really lend itself to this in my opinion.

I tried a Vufine display a couple years ago for a raspberry pi 3b project I was working on at the time, I remember it being clunky, difficult to keep in one spot in your vision, and very very fragile. Combined with it’s poor mounting solution it wasn’t a great time, especially when it broke. I would really recommend against it.

yeah, one of the recommended videos on YT has the subtitle “Just don’t”, so this particular one does not seem like a solid solution for everyday use;

There are quite a few third party AR glasses on the market but this is still experimental technology. I wish someone would focus simply on a “monitor in glasses” product without any additional gimmicks, built in Siri therapist or other fluff

I came here expecting someone to have a uConsole strapped to their face. I am sorely disappointed.

You would need two: one for each eye.

This kind glass is existed a long time. Yes, it is.
But the problem there is almost every AR glasses use Type-C DP Alt Mode for video input. You need a special converter to make them accept a HDMI input. Luckly there is a converter did just this:

Goovis HDMI to Type-C Adapter

> **[Amazon.com: Goovis HDMI to Type-c Adapter Young Head-Mounted Display, HD 4K...](https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Head-Mounted-Display-Converter-Portable/dp/B08B3H8NGN)**
>
> Package included:1\*HDMI to Type-c Adapter Features: 1. HDMI to type-C Video Adapter for GOOVIS Young 2. Synchronous power supply design. 3. Simple plug-and-play. Small and portable. 4. Suitable for computers and game machines.

I had one of this and a Epson BT-30C smart glasses. I’ve tested this on other devices that can only output HDMI signals.

It works, and it even break out the USB 2.0 connection from the glasses to the USB MicroB ‘power’ port so you can connect the USB datapath to the device if your glasses supported for controlling and accessing sensor data from PC (BT-30C does support this). But I heard the later revision did not include this feature so your mileage may vary on this.
