PicoCalc Music Maker program

About two weeks ago, I was watching the movie The Sound of Music (film) - Wikipedia and got the song Do-Re-Mi - Wikipedia was stuck in my head.

I wanted to play it on my PicoCalc, so I took a look at @BlairLeduc 's picocalc-text-starter code and decided to use his code since it had keyboard input, LCD text & drawing output, and sound. And within about an hour I was happily playing the Do-Re-Mi song just by pressing keys on the PicoCalc!

However, that was two weeks ago and every day I thought of a new function to add to my simple program, so I did.

Feature creep - Wikipedia is a real thing

Anyway I think I’m done with it for a while and I thought I’d share with the community

I’m “old” and since I did all of my programming and development in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, I’ve never used github before, HOWEVER… I’ve just released my picocalc-music-maker program on github at GitHub - Dzubin/picocalc-music-maker: Music maker for the PicoCalc · GitHub and pre-compiled UF2 files are at Release PicoCalc Music Maker V0.01A · Dzubin/picocalc-music-maker · GitHub

I used Claude to do all of my github stuff so I haven’t the foggiest idea if this looks like a standard github repo. Please feel free to tell me.
