# Picocalc screen - model number?

Sounds like new orders may eventually be receiving less fragile screens. But until then, probably best to tape down the screen just to be sure. I’m kind of surprised it has gone on this long because I imagine Alex has been sending out a lot of replacement screens. Speaking of which, you’ll want to email [alex@clockworkpi.com](mailto:alex@clockworkpi.com) to get your replacement.

But there are plenty of other mentions of broken screen on this forum, and on the discord. It’s a shame they didn’t at least start putting some little note in the boxes or something to suggest taping down the screen (and maybe supply the tape). Some owners have done case mods instead of taping, but that seems to be the simplest and cheapest route.
