After a bit of faffing with Snap Store, I now have PokeMMO running and it seems to be working well for the five minutes I’ve spent with it so far…

I have spent ages this aft trying to get mGBA installed, but no luck. There’s no support for ARM64 under the Snap Store for mGBA. So, as per the official mGBA website, I tried my luck with the appimage version, but kept getting ‘segmentation fault’, which seems to mean it’s incompatible with this version of Linux.

Now trying my luck with VisualBoyAdvance on Snap instead and it’s installing as I type. This is only available for ARM64 via the unstable branch, so fingers crossed it works or I think I’m out of luck with GBA emulation on uConsole.

RetroPie builds upon Raspbian, EmulationStation, RetroArch and many other projects to enable you to play your favourite Arcade, home-console, and classic PC games with the minimum set-up. For power users it also provides a large variety of configuration tools to customise the system as you want. Features: Clockwor…

I have VisualBoyAdvance working really well now with the 8bitdo wireless controller. I’d love to see what the CM5 can do with other emulators too, so I’m grabbing RetroPie from Rex’s thread, thank you for pointing it out.
