I have the uconsole cm4 and 32GB SDcards, and I used the image of RetroPie 6.12.y for uConsole and DevTerm here.
Next, after installing the retropie image on the sd card, how can I connect the ucosole and pc wirelessly, is there an easy post written for beginners?
I tried to install and use the samba program in uconsole, but I couldn’t use it because I had an error.
How can I connect with PC or move GameRom?

putty? usb memory? samba? filezilla?

Which method would be best for a beginner?

SSH Is a great option but it comes disabled by default

Also you can use a pendrive to move things from the PC to the uconsole, its not wireless but its the most beginner friendly, for putty, filezilla or similar SSH access needs to be enabled

`ssh + scp/sftp` are the best possible combo,

but for beginner I would recommend usb flash drive

_(or you can use usb card reader and connect retropie sdcard to your computer, but it may be hard to do on win due to sd card filesystem)_

The easiest way for a beginner would be eject the sd and put in in your computer and place the roms you want in the correct emulator folder in /home/USER/RetroPie/roms/ then put the sd back in the uConsole.

on linux that’s very easy, but windows requires some extra work to read ext4 file systems

FileZilla over sftp is what worked for me — connect on port 22 with your pi username and password and you can drag roms straight into /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/ without touching samba at all. samba’s worth figuring out eventually but it has more moving parts than sftp does. wrote up the full breakdown of every transfer method (samba fix included) at [uConsole RetroPie ROM Transfer: SFTP, Samba, and USB — Which Works Best for Beginners? - Crit & Craft](https://critandcraft.com/uncategorized/uconsole-retropie-rom-transfer-sftp-samba-usb/)
