Interested to see for anyone that has received their board if they can get a TV reception and post a photo. Thanks.

If I have the CM5, is Rex’s upcoming DragonOS the best for this? Or is Rex’s Debian release more compatible? I’m mainly hoping to use SDRAngel

DragonOS currently doesn’t work with the CM5 hopefully I can get it working soon. The Debian image will be the most compatible with the CM5 though.

I just got the RTL-SDR board and installed it along with Rex’s Debian Bookworm image. I was following @vileer ‘s instructions ([HackerGadgets uConsole RTL-SDR/LoRa/GPS/RTC/USB Hub All-In-One Extensi – Hacker Gadgets](https://hackergadgets.com/pages/hackergadgets-uconsole-rtl-sdr-lora-gps-rtc-usb-hub-all-in-one-extension-board-setup-guide)) on setting up the system and ran into a problem. When I added “dtparam=spi=on” into the config.txt, it boots to a black screen. When I remove it, it goes back to normal.

Does anyone have suggestions, on how to fix this and get LoRA running? Thanks!

If you wait i think Rex will release his automated install soon.

It’s the CM5. I followed the instructions for the CM5. One thing I noticed is that apt upgrade had updated meshtesticd to a newer version than the guide

If you’re on a CM5 install this package I’m working on it’s still not finished but it’ll get you going and any future updates I make will be installed when you run an update.
`sudo apt update && sudo apt install hackergadgets-uconsole-aio-board`
That package will make the correct entries in the config.txt install meshtastic, sdr++, tar1099 and pygpsclient. Then set them up for you. You’ll have to configure meshtastic yourself though for your user and country.

I just purchased one and I’m really excited. This is the expansion board I’ve been wishing for a long time! The only concern I have so far is with the antenna board; it seems a bit fragile and could potentially break off easily.

Has anyone already thought about designing a 3D-printable protective cover for it?
