I highly recommend Thimbleweed Park too for anyone who has not played that.

Kind of looks like a giant robotic hand to me. Though that is a very skinny and long thumb. ![]()
I use 18650 batteries with a protection circuit to avoid any risks.
I received my uConsole about three weeks ago. I’ve upgraded to CM5 and ordered an external antenna for better reception. I’ve just started, but I’d like to share my current progress. Thanks to everyone who shares their work and pictures for inspiration.
Nice. ![]()
You’ve been busy in 3 weeks. ![]()
Where did you get those screws? I’m after something similar
Printed a new back (I found the design here in the forum not my own!) and put the cm5 passive cooler on. Way less spicy on the fingers. Have a small case fan I’m gonna try and install next. I’ll end up having to modify the stl file to include some way to mount it
i ordered them from Ali-Express in M4x6, they are a little longer than the original but fit great

I also find the back very sharp-edged and hope that this will improve over time with use. I will try the 3d printed one too!
You won’t lose that will you. ![]()

The rear panel and antenna mount were customized based on publicly available 3D data.
Would like to express our sincere gratitude to those who created and shared this data.
The fan is switched on and off by a thermostat attached to the heat sink.
that thermostat is a smart idea, do you have a link to that one?
The thermostat used is a KSD9700 normally open (NO)/45C model.
It is normally off, turns on at 45±5°C, and turns off when the temperature falls below approximately 33°C.
For example, the following seller is available on AliExpress.(I purchased it on Amazon.JP.)
Made especially for the tinkerers among us.
HI, noticed the plug on the AIO board that you are using for power to the fan. Where did you source it?
The connector type used to connect the internal USB port and fan of the AIO expansion board is JST PH 2.0 (4-pin).
For example, I used a pre-wired cable such as the one sold on AliExpress below.
