# Speaker orientation?

Just putting together my gameshell, finally! Does it matter which way the speakers go round? Does each speaker have to touch the opposite contact points on each side?

So touching RN1 and RP1 on one side and RN2 and RP2 on the other?

I’ve just noticed the other side is L obviously for left. But which contact points should each touch?

As far as I can tell, the orientation shouldn’t matter; there are 4 contact points on the board for 2 contacts on the speaker itself with pairs set (I believe) diagonally. As long as you attach the speakers correctly to the top of the enclosure of the speaker unit, there should be contact.

It worked! I just put them with the writing on the back on them facing the same way! Thanks though!

From what I remember, the speaker are supposed to face down
