Got an 8gb CM4 DevTerm from Ebay. After some cleaning-up and tuning software-wise, it’s as fast and snappy as a CM4 can be. While the UConsole is buildt for horizontal doom-scrolling on the couch, the DevTerm can actually be typed on.

The printer-tray and roller was missing, and I don’t have an order number, that probably mean I’m out of luck scrambling a new one. The flip-flop lid is in place, and I wonder if anyone has made use of this space in any way?? A compartment for a mini wireless mouse, a HMDI adapter, charger cable etc??? Cant find any extension cards that’s made for the DevTerm.

there was a single prototype run of a cartridge system for the devterm, there’s a thread on the forum here

Have seen that, looks abandoned. The only thing I miss is a 4G solution, like the UConsole. Internet on the move. With the CM4 the DevTerm is quiet capable. But the trackball on this thing is a disappointment. Have ordered a new, but even if I get it to work 100% the layout of the keyboard makes it awkward to use. That gave me the idea; the possibility to pop out a small mouse from this compartment. There are some really small ones on AliExpress that will fit. Maybe a tailored compartment, cushioned to keep things from rattling inside!
