Thank you both so much! I got it done
Please excuse the beginner question. Since Trixie unfortunately doesnât output any audio, I downloaded SDR++brown. However, I seem unable to get it to work. I get the error message below: (Invalid file). Iâm using the SDR-RTL V4 stick.
If youâre using Trixie youâll need to add an audio sink. On the left side scroll down to Module Manager . At the bottom of Module Manager type audio and select linux_pulseaudio_sink then click the + symbol. Then add the audio sink in the Sinks menu on the left side back up towards the top.
You mean SDR++ brown, right? That one doesnât even start. Or does it work with the original SDR++ now?
what are you meaning by trixie get no audio output? no audio at all or just in sdr++ and sdr++ brown? that audio fix is for sdr++ and sdr++ brown.
if you downloaded it from somewhere else i couldnât tell you whats wrong. i do have sdr++ brown compiled in my repo for the uconsole. sudo apt install sdrpp-brown
Iâm not getting any audio in SDR++. And I canât get SDR++ brown to start.
How did you install SDR++ brown?
Did that audio fix work for SDR++?
I got it from the page below. Iâll test your version from your repo tomorrow. And Iâm sure it will work! ![]()
They donât have any arm Linux releases so unless you compile it, it wonât work. Try mine tomorrow. Feel free to reach out if you need anymore help.
The audio fix didnât work with SDR++. The sink option doesnât even appear there. With your SDR++brown, I was able to adjust the sink using âaudioâ. Thanks again for your help. I see I still have a lot to learnâŚ
With ClockworkPi-Trixie-6.12.48.img on a DevTerm CM4, the desktop screen is not correctly rotated, and must be (awkwardly) adjusted in the Control Center afterwards. The console screen is OK.
Labwc need exact settings for a panel rotation. The uConsole and DevTerm use different panels with different resolutions. I can only have the correct rotation for one panel. I chose the uConsole as itâs the more popular device and the one that still being made. The DevTerm is currently still supported, you just have to rotate the panel and install the printer software yourself.
I installed trixie and donât need any help! ty @Rex!
Trixie jockeyed by @white-round-square takes the lead and is off to a great start! ![]()
Hi,
Got my uConsole and really like it.
I prefer the Trixie image over the Kali linux but in Kali it is possible to install the nexmon driver for the Broadcom wlan interface so it can be set to monitor mode.
Would it be possible to install these drivers onto the trixie image ?
Where can I find a copy of Trixie for my uconsole?
Please look at the first post in this thread. There are a few download links
I am currently using a CM5. Downloaded the uconsole-Trixie as per Herbertâs suggestion. Built an sd card using Balena Etcher and installed onto the uconsole. So far, everything loaded and works great. Big thanks to Rex and all the other users.
Running well on my CM5 uConsole, thanks Rex! No hitches with the retro gaming side of things, got re-setup quickly!
