Does anyone know if the uconsole steps up the 18650 cel voltage to power the RP? If so, has anyone tried modding the cells in series and buck convert down, as this would be more efficient at delivering power. Stepping up at lower voltages becomes more difficult and will draw more amps from the cells, sagging the voltage even more in the process.
The power circuitry is on the mainboard; the battery board just exposes voltage and ground. You’d have to replace the AXP228, which is designed to charge to between 4.1V and 4.24V.
I don’t think anyone’s tried it. @lululvlv probably has the most mainboard modding experience here, they might have.

I tried to use flywhoo 1s. It works from 2.8-2.9 volts, but i have some low voltage warnings
