I designed a super basic expansion board for the uConsole, called the uEXB. It’s got just a microSD slot and an internal-facing USB port (you can solder or connect USB devices internally—like the NIC in the image). It also exposes all the GPIO pins from the PCIe interface. Check the pin mapping in the diagram or schematic!

**Heads up: Don’t solder the surface-mount USB-A port—it’s a design mistake. Otherwise, the back panel won’t fit!**

**FYI:** I designed this in JLCPCB EDA Pro, so the included `uConsole EXB_2025-06-19.epro` is their professional format export. KiCad _should_ import it—but expect some quirks!

You can try importing it into KiCad — the graphics should come through fine, but reference designators might get messed up!

I felt that the internal USB port was not very useful except for connecting a network card, so I replaced it with a CH340. Combined with a female header and Dupont wires, it can easily debug serial ports.
