# Unpopulated PCB delivered with uConsole

The EXT board with my uConsole arrived as a bare unsoldered and unpopulated PCB.

Please ship a replacement.

It’s blank because you didn’t get the 4G module. the only reason they included it is so your speaker will work.

so nothing is required for the speakers to function?  
would be nice if the documentation mentioned this.

I received this as a gift and the build guide shows a populated board.

the speakers just need a connection to the mainboard and that unpopulated PCB does that. Some members of the community have made their own modules, some even have them for sale.  
That’s a sweet gift.

you can add 2 usb ports using it
