I have had mine for a while now, very well made! I bought a nice case off amazon for it. I added an external cellular antenna which looks nice. Where I live, adding the big 10 decibel gain cellular antenna gives me great 4g reception. I could not be more pleased. Very high quality device. Loads of fun, because you can do so much with it. I always wanted a portable linux device like this and now I have one, and it works perfect! 🙂 I highly encourage you to hang in there, as it is very worth the wait. Good luck! ---

I think this won’t be easy without buying or making a new PCB for both, the compute module and power suply. But at least now is posible to upgrade the RAM in the CM4 module. ---

Now THAT’S annoying. I’m Black + 4G + CM4 (ordered Jan 17) Silver + 4G + CM4 ordered AFTER mine received first (thought maybe they out of black) Now you get yours before mine and it’s black! WTF. ---

That is really annoying I ordered the same config few days later than you. Last status i got from Alex this monday: “Packing process shall be done in a few days, then the carrier will kick in to ship your order. Shall be delivered in a couple of weeks according to our experience.” ---

if you can find the core around you, remove the core from your oder, it will be much fast ---

I made two orders recently: Silver Wifi only CM4- no core Placed on Nov 1st 309xx Black Wifi only R-01 Placed on Nov 6th 310xx I decided to order 2 different configurations with the hope that one would show up before the other. I want to use the R-01 to learn a bit about RISC-V, but I’m hopeful that there will be support for CM5 at some point in the future. I know I have a while to wait, so I’m gonna read up on some mods that I might want to do and maybe start gathering hardware.
