after a while i’ve come to not like my current username, and since the option to change your full name doesn’t quite cut it and i don’t want to make a new account, i ask that a feature to change it be added ---

There is no pencil beside username. I messaged admin, then 2 different mods several months ago asking to change user name. No reply nothing, what I did receive was more harassment that I care to deal with in forums, so at this point what I want is to simply delete my account. How is this possible? I see no available method and I’ve already found no response from mods the case so then what? ---

I briefly looked into how accounts can be deleted in Discourse (which is what this forum is using) and it seems like the only way accounts can be deleted is by an admin. Maybe @guu is still around and can do it for you. @Unicorn-1. @Godzil was/is an admin here too, but I haven’t seen them around in a long time. Mods have never really been around much and have almost always been volunteers and not Clockwork employees, but recently it seems they’ve been quieter than ever. Also seems like parts of the community have been getting downright toxic too. I don’t remember people sharing projects in the past and then getting bullied to leave, but you’re one of a few recent examples, and it’s sad to see. This used to be a place where others got excited when someone had something they’d put together and were keen to share. It was cool to see all the new stuff people were doing with these devices. But now the forum seems to be more about arguing and making fun of each other and driving away people who have something to share. Not that it’s much consolation, but it wasn’t always like this. ☹ ---

I’m around I’m around, just quite busy sadly, you can always join me on discord it is more visible to me there than here at the moment, put I do get pinged if you @ me here So what’s is the problem? You cannot as a user change your username? I’m surprised, most forum engine normally allow that. I don’t have admin rights here as in I cannot change most server parameters, but I can at least fullfill user request to change their name if they cannot ---
