# Wear and tear of Uconsole

The only things I use to protect it are this [screen protector](https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1636557-REG/smallrig_3274_screen_protector_for_bmpcc.html) and this [uConsole cover](https://forum.clockworkpi.com/t/3d-printed-cover-for-the-uconsole/10527).  
Paint will get worn but like @auslandermaus said it adds to the aesthetic of the device. It is made to hack on, I have drilled holes in the case and cut chunks out of parts of the PCB. So keeping it pretty isn’t my biggest concern.
