# ¿Which sd card works best with uconsole?

In a few hours I’ll be receiving my uConsole.
I have some questions about the SD card supported by this device.
I understand that I should look for the fastest and largest-capacity card I can afford… as long as it works properly with the uConsole.
I’m relying on your wisdom and experience to see if any of the following cards will work, and if possible, to recommend which one would be best.
I’ve listed these models because they’re the ones I can easily get in my country:
1. Lexar SD Memory Card 512GB SDXC 205MB/s U3 V30 4K Silver Plus Pro
2. Micro SDXC Xiaomi Pro Plus 1TB V10 U3 SDXC
3. Micro SD 256GB SanDisk Extreme Pro U3 V30 A2 200MB/s
4. Micro SD 256GB SanDisk Extreme U3 V30 A2 4K 190MB/s
5. Micro SDXC SanDisk SDSQUAC-512G-GN6MN Ultra 512GB 150MB/s
If you’re not familiar with these specific models, what specifications or designations should I look for in an SD card to make the most of the CM4 module included in the uConsole?

For me SanDisk Extreme Pro U3 V30 A2 works fine. Though you can also get a Team Group Pro+ sd card.
kinda off topic but if you have some extra cash, you can buy HackerGadget’s [upgrade kit](https://hackergadgets.com/products/uconsole-upgrade-kit?variant=47045223383214) for pcie nvme speeds.

Thanks for the information.
As for the kit, it’s on my wish list, although it’s currently out of my budget ☹
But yes, I agree that it’s an excellent option, and I want to take the chance to congratulate its creator!

you need to find a “magic sd card” only for cm5 _(firmware issues, you need magic card once to update firmware)_
any card should work with cm4 so buy any

The speed of the card is not that important, as the interface is the bottleneck.
I consider wear resistance to be more important and would therefore recommend a durable card such as e. g. a SanDisk High Endurance.

So I’ll go for one like the one in the screenshot.
One last question… would it be useful if its speed were higher than 100 MB/s, or is the CM4 module unable to write faster than that anyway?
