I have a PicoCalc few days now. I put in a RPi Pico 2W and Webmite 6.01.00 rc27f.
It shows me just about 240 kB free RAM even Pico2 has 520 kB (so with basic etc. I would think about somewhere 480-500). Do you know why is it so? ROM I used is exactly for Pico 2 W. Does this mean a bad build options or is it some hw design effect? Thanks for clarification and have a fine day
idk The Master works in mysterious ways, a lot of the code is moved from flash to ram to improve performance. I suggest you read the documentation, in particular the section “MMBasic Characteristics”, it does not hurt to read the complete manual from the beginning to end.
FYI: rc27f is the “orginal version” with adaptions for the PicoCalc hardware and nothing more.
