My uconsole was running trixie without a problem. Now the device gives a black screen. However, when I connect to an external screen using HDMI I can see the device is booting properly. The keyboard and mouse do not work on the external screen. Is this normal? I can use an external mouse to click around on the external screen. I have read the other posts on Black Screens and taken the uconsole apart several times. I check the reassembly process by connecting the uconsole to my external HDMI monitor and rebooting. Am I missing something? Did I somehow blow the internal screen for the uconsole? Any help is most appreciated. Thanks
Sounds like you changed out my custom kernel for the stock one somehow. If you can use an external keyboard too and get a command prompt up you just need to do sudo apt reinstall akrex-kernel

Thanks for the response. Mouse and keyboard are locked up. Tried several mice and keyboards using the usb port and none worked. WiFi is hooked to the network maybe I can get in using ssh.
