Before I retired, I was a computer network analyst for many many years and did a lot of troubleshooting using basic tools like PING, or Traceroute, network IP address scans, port scans, or just looking at the Signal strength of wireless access points. I’ve put all of these tools into one PicoCalc W program that I’ve called “NetThing”
It can also do PING graphs and use a signal strength meter to see if you have “dead spots” on your Wifi network as you walk around. It will also find local Bluetooth trackers such as the Apple Airtag.
I think it’s a nice portable troubleshooting tool.
It only runs on PicoCalcs with the Pico W or Pico 2W boards.
