SnapIn Break board holder and Grip for the PicoCalc

:waving_hand: Hey folks!
I realized I never shared this here, so I figured I’d post it in case anyone finds it useful.

A few months back I designed a snap-in, 3D-printable back cover for the PicoCalc that’s meant to make prototyping and everyday use a bit more comfortable.

What it adds:

  • Support for one or two breadboards on the back

  • Grip contours to reduce hand fatigue

  • Standoffs so it can stand upright or lie flat on a table
    (even with breadboards attached)

  • Still allows full access to the battery panel

It snaps in cleanly and doesn’t require any permanent mods.

If you have thoughts or suggestions, I’m all ears. I’ve also been toying with the idea of a custom PicoPac PCB, so I’m curious what features people would actually want from something like that.

Thanks for taking a look!

I’ve seen your videos a couple times, and I like this stand/holder. Hopefully I can get my 3D printer working and print these.

Once you hold the PicoCalc with this grip, you will probably not want to ever take it off
Even if you don’t ever plan on using the I/O!

Yeah, those finger grips on the back looked like they would really help. Do you have any printed that you would be willing to sell?
