I can confirm that the stock firmware does not have this issue
not at all, or does the keyboard restart properly by itself?
what does journalctl -f _KERNEL_SUBSYTEM=usb
show when you run that while plugging in a usb device
But the stock firmware of the keyboard had multiple key presses, making it unusable
Not at all. It does not disconnect. I only see the device connection and disconnection log entries
I do not like the stock firmware too. I need to connect devices without reconnecting the keyboard though
I dont how was your experience but out of the box keyboard firmware (at least on mine) was a very poor experience, you press one key and it continuously pressed the key like 20 times, it was very annoying and unusable to be honest.
I simply use the USB on my extension boards and for some reason those work fine without affecting the keyboard at all
I can also confirm, reverting from latest qmk to stock firmware fixes the issue when connecting any USB peripheral.
Nice to hear that. But donāt you have issues with the stock firmware? Mainly sticky keys, for example if I press a single time Z it would write like zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
It was completely unusable, maybe I had a very old version? idkā¦
The stock bin hasnāt been updated in over 2 years. Stock was unusable for me too.
If you are having issues with the keyboard not working. Using an extension board like this will allow you to plug in usb devices without taking out your keyboard. (shameless plug āThis is my storeā):
you dont have to remove the faceplateļ¼just remove all batteriesļ¼then put them backļ¼keyboard will works too
for the uconsole thatās the same amount of effort, it doesnāt have a battery door like the devterm
