Hmm. I wonder if the speed increase only happens with the use of FRAMEBUFFER and/or SPRITE?

But maybe it’s the exception instead of the rule!
I’ve been playing around with adapting some of the demos here, and they seem ok, but they don’t feel nearly as fast. I haven’t tried them with the previous release yet to see how they compare.
