What is the Power button behavior?

Hey folks, I haven’t received my PicoCalc yet. While rooting around in the MCU firmware, I noticed that the power key doesn’t seem to actually send any signal to the Pico when pressed (though there is probably some stuff written to a serial port).

Since I can’t take a look at actual hardware, I have a few questions:
How is the picocalc turned off currently?
Do you have to hold the power button, and for how long?
To turn it on, how long do you have to hold the button?
what does it do if you just tap the button?

For either power on or off, you just hold the power button. I think for about 3 seconds.

awesome, that’s great info. That is configurable on the power management IC it turns out, but it wasn’t at all clear what was the default behavior.
