About to order my uconsole - What ist he state of things, regarding CM4 and CM5

I have a reliable source to get whatever RP I want, so I can choose, what I want.
What is the current advise? How big is the tinkerfactor to currently get CM5 running?
It’s all software related anyways and will soon(ish) be solvable, so CM5 is longterm always the right advise?

Brand new uConsole, CM4 or CM5?

Hi all, finally bit the bullet on a uconsole, bought it without a mainboard due to trying to get faster shipping. I’m having trouble deciding whether to go with the CM4 or CM5.. I’m leaning towards the CM4 due to it sounding easier / less hassle, but wondering about people’s experiences on here. Is the CM4 too underpowered to make the uconsole useful for anything? Or does the CM5 have good speed but drain batteries too fast to be useful for anything? Also what would you recommend to do on a fr…

Should I get a CM4 or CM5?

Hello everyone this is my first post here! I just ordered my uconsole yesterday with no cm module, I’m hoping that will speed up my order. My question is should I order a cm4 module that will work for sure or should I get a cm5 hoping that all the issues will get worked out before my uconsole arrives?

Get a CM5 Lite (no onboard Memory) with as much RAM as you want to afford and be done with it. If you have the coice, there’s no more reason for using a CM4 in my eyes.

But still, I stand by what I said. CM5 is better in all aspects.
