Bluetooth - any tricks?

Hi

I received my unconsole last week - and I’ve been experimenting with it.

I have the CM5 board in… and can’t seem to get a bluetooth keyboard/mouse paired with it. Any tricks to make that turn on? Wifi works.

I am running now, the ClockworkPi-Ubuntu-24.04-6.12.45.img

Looking at USB/PCI - should I see bluetooth?

I have the “lite” version if that helps?

Thanks
Sean

lite is only about ‘emmc vs sdcard’

do you have ‘wireless cm5’? what model number?

do you have a wifi?

you should have a bluetooth icon in system tray, can you please run in terminal:

$ sudo bluetoothctl list
$ sudo systemctl status bluetooth.service

This what I ordered in terms of CM5:

5542-SC1598 Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5, Wireless, 8GB RAM, Lite - CM5108000

The bluetooth icon shows up, but it doesn’t find anything.

did you connect your wifi/bluetooth antenna to cm5? not to the mainboard?

does your wifi works?

can you please run in terminal:

$ sudo bluetoothctl list
$ sudo systemctl status bluetooth.service
