Just got my PicoCalc today and assembled it, it looks lovely!
But then I was wondering… it’d be really nice to get a case for it, either a soft case, old calculator style, or a hard case. Does anyone have recommendations of cases that might work for the PicoCalc? Have you bought or built one yourself?
I got this case:

Perfect fit. Will create a hard protector out of an old plastic clipboard cut to fit over the PicoCalc. It will have a soft foam adhered to one side that will be placed over the PicoCalc to protect the screen from spare sd card and etc inserted into the pouchs.
Will also carry cheat card for programs contained on the PicCalc and protect the screen plastic lens.
I placed silicon ‘feet’ on the PicoCalc so it would not slide around on the table w…
Make sure to get the M size – this is what I got and it fits perfectly.
This has been discussed a few times, and there are some good ideas given:
That makes sense. A while ago, I tried to buy some Raspberry Pi Zero 2Ws, from Micro Center. :astonished_face:The first one was something like $10, but the second one was $9,999.99! The clerk, at first, thought that it was a mistake, but when he checked it out, it turned out that they did not want people to purchase more than one.
But this one is perfect in my final choice. It carries both cables required for charging and connecting to your laptop. Also has room for the SD card reader for my laptop. A couple of microfiber cloths for the screen and any spare SD cards that I decide to take with me.
It will also allow me to include the manual. I am writing to accompany, my aviation compendium master program. I will format the manual to the same dimensions as the PicoCalc.
With the available hard cover that can be 3-D p…
And here, this is the one that I ended up getting (actually five of these cases.)

Thank you! The first suggestion looks almost made on purpose for the PicoCalc, but the rigid case is also tempting
I’ve been pleased with mine. One is for one of my PicoCalcs, one is for my HP200LX (fits great) and one I gave to my wife for her electronics kit (chargers, cables, etc.) for her suit case (we keep suit cases mostly ready for quick packing - there are some advantages to being retired.) Of the other two, one will be for my other PicoCalc when I get it assembled, and I don’t know about the other (maybe I’ll get another PicoCalc.
