There’s no reason to do it in English.
It’s using the Chinese language tag after all.
The topic is in Chinese, for a chat app, frequently used by Chinese speaking people, from China.
Not all instant messenger services are allowed in China, and proxies are often required fo access a lot of things the western works takes for granted.
In short, you don’t need to be a part of everything, and given the topic’s intent, there will be no use in being a part of the QQ group, unless you speak Chinese.

They’ve set up an IM software community, making it much easier for Chinese users to communicate there. Because accessing English-language networks isn’t exactly a walk in the park in mainland China, and English can be a barrier for many users. So… that’s the gist of it. If you need any assistance, just let me know.
