HackerGadgets AIO Board Package

No sign of damage, although I swear I saw/smelt magic smoke. The weird thing is, the card fully works when directly plugged in the other USB-C port, and works in the internal USB-C port via a 5cm extension, but not directly, nor through a 1cm port extender.

On the off chance that any of you using the HackerGadgets board are also NixOS users like I am I thought I’d share the configuration tricks I used to get the v1 board working (RTC, GNSS, LoRa and SDR) on NixOS with the CM4:

Hi. I’ve installed the complete package after having my HG AIO V2 installed and when I launch Meshtastic Web I get “Unable to Connect”. On Meshtastic MUI I get “Connection failed”. Did I do anything wrong?

if you have the v2 card you need to activate the lora then restart meshtasticd

Can you tell me how to activate LoRa? Can’t find that info. Thanks

Hey y’all! Has anyone had success getting display out of the usb-c on the AIO v2?

The hackergadgets USB C port is data only. The USB C on the main board is power only.

Side thought… Will the Hackergadgets usb-c connect to a Windows10 pc and appear as a drive like my Samsung mobile ?

No, it can’t do that.

hi,

I just setup aiov2. Just two question. Will set
aiov2_ctl LORA off

also I don’t start Lora during the boot - allows me to not attach antenna?

How do you flash new firmware on lora - can not find this device here https://flasher.meshtastic.org/

you don’t flash firmware to the lora chip, you install meshtasticd in linux.
Firmware is for the micro controller that controls the lora chip in most meshtastic devices, on linux your computer talks to the lora radio directly

Everything looks good from the picture you posted.
