Just need to adapt the 3D printed slide-on cover to say “Don’t Panic” on the front.
Now all you need is for it to play Infocom’s Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy … watch this space

raises a beer to you in admiration and respect
actually 3 pints
at lunchtime
because time is an illusion and lunchtime doubly so
Yes, that is one of my main objectives too, to find a zcode interpreter to run under basic. So any work on that would be super (and definitely worth a coffee - i have seen your work related to this
Tom)
Now i am just waiting for my picocalc to arrive
I’m ready. I have a towel.
I have my MMBasic Z-machine interpreter running on the PicoCalc (with help testing by @cjstoddard) but I’m just waiting for Peter Mather to fix a recent regression on the PicoMite mainline (not present in the PicoCalc firmware) so I can check it is running against the entire current MMBasic lineup before releasing.
(Apologies for the hijack @John_Kennedy).
Best wishes,
Tom
Wow. Amazing news!!! Thank you!
Exactly where do we download the latest version for PicoCalc ?. The link seems to point to a Pico version not updated for 4 years ?
I feel a coffee donation coming on !, especially for a PicoCalc version running later Z files
If you read a couple posts above mine, you will see Tom said he is waiting to do some final testing before he releases it into the wild. The only reason I have a copy is I beta tested the changes for him. Be patient, give him some time, it will be worth the wait.
The logo didn’t work, and this print needs sanding a little to fit better. But I like the wood/leather - ish look of this cover.
Earth: Mostly Harmless.
Omg love this! Are you sharing print files? Would love to don’t panic-ify mine
I just used the cover shared elsewhere in this forum and butchered it with a logo I found online!
Amazing! I don’t have the ability to hack together files (I print at a community print lab). If you were open to sharing files would love to print one!
