I found out that CM5 has their own RTC module... today

I wanted my uconsole CM5 have RTC, but buying AIO V2 just for using RTC module only wouldn’t be a good usage of resources. So it was hard to choose between normal expansion and AIO V2.

But today, when I read the store page of upgrade kit, I found out that carrier board of upgrade kit has a port for “RTC battery for CM5”. So I googled about it, and CM5 had their own RTC! And I immediately chose the standard one with NVME battery board and purchased the kit.

So, if I’m using CM5, am I good to go with some RTC battery?

Yep, you just need to supply battery and the built-in RTC will work.

You will need to find a battery with the MX1.25 ultra-thin connector. Here are some recommendations from the community. HackerGadgets' uConsole Upgrade Kit - adding NVME SSD(PCIe), RJ45 Ethernet and USB 3.0 to your Uconsole - #1005 by proteus
