Hi! Sorry to bother again, any news on the webmite build? Once again, thanks a lot for your help  Best regards

@alexsfernandes Meanwhile, you should use the last release from Pelrun himself : picomite all versions by pelrun

I’m already using it. I’m using PicoMite-pico2.uf2 while Webmite is not available. Thanks

haha oops, my bad, I missed the point.

I’m on holiday right now, so technically I’m going to look at the PicoCalc as I promised.

Of course, being on holiday resulted in me immediately becoming extremely sick and spending the last 2 weeks feeling sorry for myself and waiting for the agony to pass. My brain was not up to doing brain things until today.

Ernst has been quietly doing some work on the side which looks like it’s close to bearing fruit, so I’ll see what I can do to help get it across the line.

Sorry to hear you’ve been sick, I wish you recover quickly.

What a classic!… Sorry to hear that. I wish you a quick recovery! Thanks again for everything

Can I add +1 for wanting a fix for the WebMite_PICO2W_V6.00.03_PicoCalc.utfs when you are less sick and feel like doing it, please

I’ve had great success using V6.00.02RC23. Anything after that fails for me. It boots, I get the screen for 5 seconds, then everything goes black.

A) Read the forum
B) Never mention PicoCalc outside this forum

Bizarre thing to say. The response DNSGeek got on thebackshed was perfectly sensible. What DNSGeek didn’t say was whether he was using a bootloader which may be pertinent and whether he was using your modified firmware and not the standard which clearly won’t work. I suppose version of the keyboard firmware may be relevant as well?

assume you are using the modified PicoCalc firmware? If so, it is difficult to help.
Load RC23. Does LIST OPTIONS show you the configuration settings? If so, copy these down. Load the standard 6.02.00 WEBMITERP2350 firmware. You can access the firmware though a computer connected to the USB port on the Pico. You will have a blank screen but you can then apply the options you have noted EXCEPT the keyboard. Start with SYSTEM SPI. Try both the ILI9488SP and ST7796SP LCD drivers. Nobody is sure what LCD the PicoCalc is using. It may be neither of those but they are all very similar. The ILI9488SP driver runs the slowest and is probably the most general. Assuming that all works then you will have to follow up on the PicoCalc forum as there is nothing I can do - I don’t have one.

There has been some tenseness with the people at thebackshed over the PicoCalc resulting from some previous licensing issues, which the people at thebackshed are a bit testy about (particularly since their current license was motivated by a past attempt to hijack PicoMite/MMBasic). The people there do not seem to like the existence of the PicoCalc, and at least at one point were designing a competitor seemingly out of spite.
