Screen Rotate Setting among Desktop

Turned off the devterm before going to bed and woke up the next morning. And I found the battery is quitely discharged.
Even when the devterm is turned off, the SSD external hard drive connected to the USB lights up the connection.
I don’t understand.

What is the proper way to shutdown devterm?
Do I have to pull off all USB devices after shutdown?

this is a good question. i’ve never heard about proper shutdown/sleep technique for the DT yet.

Lots of laptop also keep the power on USB devices if they were plugged before shutting the laptop down.

But the devterm do not do that, I’ve just checked: No power on the USB port if it is off, not power on the USB port if connected before going off (once the DT is off)

You may have though it was switched off but was not?

Check the LED on the power switch. Is it on or not?
