SDR Expansion board?

I’d love to see if it was possible to add an SDR to the expansion slot with maybe some SMA connectors?

I am definitely going to be playing with my RTL-SDR with my uconsole.

NESDR Nano 2+ is tiny, but working range is narrow 25MHz-1700MHz

I think unless you get the better SDR they are probably all about that frequency range in practicality… but that sdr screen really fits the uConsole well…

Have you considered creating a uConsole expansion board housing a compact version of the MSI.SDR device, shown here:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/183708145619

The device is essentially a tiny clone of the SDRPlay RSP1A radio, containing MSI001 and MSI2500 chips. Has microUSB socket on one side (should go into uConsole), SMA on the other (should go outside).

The device is much smaller than the more popular RTLSDR dongle, has no protruding USB plug, and thus has a chance of completely fitting onto a uConsole expansion board.

Unlike RTLSDR, it is capable of receiving 0 to 2GHz, with 6-8Msps bandwidth at once.

I just made a RTL-SDR Extension Board with USB HUB and RTC.
