Hi everyone, I’d like to share a guide on how to port a distro to the uConsole, since there’s very little documentation available. In essence, the process comes down to installing a kernel that already includes the drivers for the uConsole—or patching an existing kernel source to add driver support—then compiling, packaging, and installing it on a working Raspberry Pi image. 1. The .diff url contains all the changes that ak-rex did to raspberrypi/linux. You can download it in the terminal with wget while being in the linux directory and use patch -p1 < ak-rex_patch.diff. If there’s rejections while applying the patch you will have to fix them manually.
2. This is the process I follow to generate the images from my bio link.
3. This process is proven working with bookworm, trixie, and jammy for the moment. Other debian based distros could work without much hassle, too. Again, check my bio link and related repo.
