Uconsole Keyboard Resets after Cold Boot

I am at out of ideas. I have a new uconsole I purchased from Amazon (tried direct but admittedly got impatient after 3 months). The keyboard needs to be reflashed to work after every cold reboot. Once I run the flash command the keyboard and trackball respond until power is lost. Warm reboots do not impact functionality. I have tried the shipped OS, Bookworm and now I am on Trixie. I have flashed the Keyboard with the Clockwork firmware as well as two of the QMK Firmware versions (20240909 and 20240922). I have flashed the firmware both while installed and using a USB Cable. Nothing I do can get the keyboard to work on a cold boot without needing to remote in and flash to reset the DFU state to normal.

What am I missing?!

This is in a stock uconsole with the shipped CM4. I have ordered the Hackergadgets upgrade board with battery holder (not the AIO V2 board yet) and have the Openinterface KVM board currently.

Any help greatly appricated.
Thanks!

Have you touched switches in the bottom right corner on the key board board?

I have done this several times but I will do it again.

Thanks!

Untouch them to the initial position

I had not previously done the UART as I did not have the required parts to do it.

I got what is required and had the encouraging result of having the switch on the board come off. Suffice to say I am frustrated. I will see if I can resolder but that is unlikely given my eye sight.

Half tempted to just run the dfutil at boot.

I may need to order a replacement keyboard but wouldn’t trust the solder on it.

it actually possible: where can i buy uconsole keyboard board?

or you can upgrade to touchpad: Trackpad on uconsole!!!Will on sale formally!Tell you all! - #57 by CursorBeat

I emailed help@clockwork and was informed they have a six month warranty. I must say the support appears to be above board and great. Hoping to get a replacement.
