Hello, everyone. Recently, I have bought a usb wifi for my PicoCalc Luckfox lyra. When it was properly set on, the PicoCalc seemed to have failed to connected to the internet. So, what I should do to solve the problem? The message showed is like the following: 2025-05-16T16:00:00Z
Please check if you have the right Wifi Dongle.
Mine look like this.
I have bought a TP-Link nano (Different one) from a local store and have had the same error message.
Thank you! After a lot of efforts, including asking for AI, I might have solved it. It is not the compatibility of the usb wifi dongle to cause this problem. The usb wifi may have two modes: one for usb flash disk including the driver for windows pc, the other for the wifi mode. Once I plugged the usb wifi in the luckfox lyra, it would be recognized as the first mode, and then it would not connect the internet. So, I have to switch the first mode to the second. First, I need to find the Vendor and Product number of the usb wifi, and then switch it like this:
Finally, run the wifi-up.sh script, it works.
That is a great finding! Thanks for the deep analyses!
