I can’t really see the connector from that angle, but it should look like the top pic the bottom is wrong. just in case here’s how it’s suppose to be done. the pins inside the connector can get destroyed easily if forced. the fingers on the battery tray need to slide in from the front like a electrical plug, not down from the top.
It seems mine was more akin to the 2nd picture. Thankfully the pins are fine and I went ahead and “plugged them”
I guess we’ll find out soon if that solves the problem. Huge relief if I don’t need a replacement part.
I also notice a huge spike in the CPU when I start the web browser so that might be why the problem didn’t show up until just earlier.
Let us know if that solved your problem.
It seems to have solved my problem. Glad the fix was simple.
It seemed to have solved the problem but it just started happening again.
could be voltage drop from the batteries. i bet once you get some good batteries it won’t do it anymore.
Well unfortunately I attempted to disassemble and reassemble it. Ended up breaking some of the pins on the bottom of the cm4. I could just buy a new cm4 and refit it to the adapter right?
yes, just make sure you get a cm4 with wifi and no emmc.
Any links for the right one? I’m seeing a lot of different results at varying prices and with varying levels of detail.
Nice. Both of them are under 100 USD and can ship now. I didn’t mess up as bad as I thought.
