A scary story regarding anti-alias settings

So today I was playing with the Appearance settings - and then noticed that my screen started to have issues everywhere. For example, some windows have garbled content.
At the same time, I noticed many errors in dmesg, such as

panfront 1800000.gpu: gpu sched timeout, js=0, config=0x3700, status=0x50, head=...
panfrost 1800000.gpu: js fault, js=0, status=INSTR_INVALID_PC, head=....

Since I was playing with a bunch of settings, I was a little bit afraid that I broke the hardware somehow - as the screen looks similar to my old broken GPU - but that sounds unlikely to me. Eventually I remembered that I changed the sub-pixel order to RGB. After changing it back to None, the issue was gone.

This seems like a bug somewhere - maybe in the driver. If you are brave enough, you can try to set that to RGB, and see if you get the same issue.

ps. Iā€™m using the A04 model.
