I thinking about this display
It is a 720x720 display with about 4 inch. Slightly bigger then the current one.
Maybe you have found something.

A touch screen would be ideal !
Did you try it yet? Looks interesting.
I don’t think this one will work. But maybe someone will find a real alternative and post it here.
Lots of touch screens are available but would probably need at least a front case mod, never mind main board logic tweak… No doubt someone will come up with a working mod though, especially for the touchscreen ready Luckfox Lyra 
Unfortunately the Aliexpress displays do not work. They have the same driver and the resolutions 320x320; 480x480 and 720x720 but the connection is not pin-compatible and 1cm too short. Unfortunately ;-( I have tested it.
So an adaptor needed to bridge the two…
