Battery life - how to get most out of battery?

Hi all, I am using my CM4 Uconsole for some browsing, emailing and sometimes to watch a short youtube video… All in all I can squeeze about 2,5 to 3 hours out of the battery. I have read that others get up to 5 hours. Is there a smart way to let the unit go into sleep mode? It is a bit frustrating needing to shut down and reboot all the time.
