If using a CM4., then the best option is to go with one of Rex’s modern OS builds for the device. Here’s a link to the Debian Bookworm build, but there are other Linux distro options that can be found by searching the forums:
The official OS for Clockwork devices almost never gets updated and is hardly usable anyway, beyond just basic testing to see if the hardware works. If you’re using an A06 or A04 module and not a CM4 or CM5, then your options are far more restricted. Some work has been done by the community over the years to improve on the official OS for A04 and A06, but I’m not sure there are any easy options to update to the latest version of any OS. For CM4 there are lots of already update OS options ready to flash and use, with minimal configuration required.
