No os will ever work out of the box for the uConsole. You’re going to have to compile in the drivers for the display.
as @barry99705 said you need drivers the device compiled with the kernel, (screen, backlight, pmu) and a overlay file to tell the kernel to use them. i can take a look at the new stock dragonos here in the next couple days and see if it will now work with the cm5.
i do have a version of dragonos that works with the uconsole but only with the cm4 here.
Yep, at the very least you’d need to compile your own kernel with the right driver patches & device tree overlays before packaging it into an image.
I’ve made the new DragonOS compatible with the uConsole. Take it off the shelf and enjoy.
