And I used the webUI to change my location to US. And unfortunately it’s still not working in that I get a node, but no signal

You’re not getting anything in the meshtastic web UI because the hacker gadget board is not set up. Have you changed your shell or made any modifications on your bookworm image?
That’s strange…I’m on a fresh install of your Debian Bookworm and installed the first released version of your AIO package. I’ve tested GPS, flight tracker and SDR++ and they all worked. I only haven’t tested LoRa since I was missing an antenna earlier. But having updated to the newest one and gotten an 915MHz antenna, I get this failure. Could it be a hardware problem?
try and remove it and reinstall it sudo apt remove hackergadgets-uconsole-aio-board && sudo apt --install-recommends install hackergadgets-uconsole-aio-board
After trying it a few times without success, I did a fresh install of your Debian Bookworm image. I then updated my packages, and then I installed the AIO package, which finally was successful. It could be that I installed Rust and Cargo for compiling AngryOxide which caused the issues.
However, I’m getting 2 problems: 1) I set my Radio to US under Meshtastic, but I get no signal at all. 2) when I run tar1090 right after boot it works well. But after running meshtastic and then starting tar1090, the system crashes into a black screen
Are you on a cm4or 5?
I’ve been running both and have an experienced that. Is it doing it after you first set it up on a clean install or does it start crashing after you’ve installed something else?
I’m using the CM5 lite 16GB version. The crash happens right after a clean install. I haven’t modified or adding anything other than add the AIO package right after a fresh OS install.
As for Meshtastic, have you been experiencing any problems?
Everything works good for me on the cm5. I need to work on the cm4 side a bit when I have some time. But I’ve been using meshtastic without issue for a few weeks every day playing around with it.
That looks like an error on githubs end. Github has been testing out some new rate limiting. I’ll flash a new image and test though.

I just received my AIO board, and I have run into a small issue…(don’t laugh, i’m a beginner)
Sd card 256GB fresh recommended bookworm install as suggested,
Board & antenna’s installed, CM4 core,
When I run rhe install script I get this error;
E: you dont have enough free space in /var/cache/apt/archives/.
I followed the thread and tried unstall - reinstall but that didnt work.
Im sure it must be a minor thing, bit as said, im a beginner (on Linux)

Your file system needs to be expanded. sudo raspi-config and look for the option to expand the file system.

Having the same error but with exit status 1 with prompt saying “/My/home/directory/.zshrc: line X: /root/.zplug/init.zsh: No such file or directory”.
What should I do ?
I think it’s because you changed your shell. I made the packages to install on a clean or no system changes image. I manly made it for the CM5 because of problems with the panel when enabling spi.
I was getting around these by commenting out the offending lines in my .zshrc. It doesn’t seem to be able to deal with custom functions. I have now just switched to using bash on my uConsole.
Turned on vi key bindings and good enough for me.

Installed the AIO today on a fresh image of Bokworm, CM4 Lite.
GPS seems to be working, no lock yet and cannot get the GPS Test app to connect. , but NMEA data streaming in minicom, Meshtastic working! RCT working.
Cant seem to get SDR++ to pick up anything but static, tried multiple settings, and many strong local frequencies but nothing.
Tried multiple antennas and doiuble checked the connectors. still no luck.
Any ideas?
